Connectivity issues from Vancouver
30 September 2011 11:43:40 +0000For a couple of hours early in the morning (Pacific time) today, server NC020 was inaccessible from Vancouver. (This also applied to some of our clients with virtual private servers in the same data centre.) Through monitoring tools and other techniques we were able to determine that the server was indeed up and fully operational, so we can only conclude that there must have been some connectivity issue in the Vancouver area that affected all or most ISPs.

Problem with server NC020

Server NC018 move and maintenance complete
25 July 2011 07:46:28 +0000The move of server NC018 to the new data centre has been completed. Due to two failures, the downtime for some websites was longer than the planned 12 hours. NC018 update: Most sites back online
24 July 2011 20:52:02 +0000We seem to have solved the problems with websites being down. Domain redirects and aliases are still not working though.
To top it all off, updates to Identi.ca and Twitter are not going through.

NC018 update: Mail moving, still working on websites
24 July 2011 14:41:00 +0000Email is moving again on server NC018. However, an automated update of the IP address for most websites failed. We’re working on restoring these websites as fast as we can.
Server NC018 back online, some issues
