The following is a timeline of server NC036:
- 19 March: Mail server starts to fail.
- 20 March: Mail server failure confirmed.
- 28 April: Server shut down.
- 1 May: Server booted up.
- 4 June: Server shut down for the final time after we collect some information from it.
That’s it, it’s gone. There’s no getting anything back. Everyone I’ve been in touch with has transferred their email to their new server. The information we have collected is some information on and for certain domains that we will once again host on the new server, not the least of which is niner.net.
